Inside Of Tara Lipinski

Inside Of Tara Lipinski

Tara Lipinski is so down to earth and awesome! I’d love to have her for a friend.

If you don’t know who she is than you probably live under a rock. She’s this great athlete that has this natural talent. A talent that brought to the Olympics!

She became the youngest person to win an Olympic gold medal at the age of 15. I didn’t know that almost didn’t happen. She mentioned in the podcast that her anxiety got to her so much she almost didn’t do it. Luckily her mom was there and helped her get focused again. During the episode she mentions the rivalry she had with Michele Kwan.

She also mentions what she tried to do once her skating career was over. She moved to LA and tried acting. She does it from time to time and has even done voice over acting too. Now she can mostly be found on NBC Sports being a commentator for figure skating alongside former fellow figure skater Johnny Weir.

Since the day they have met they have been great friends and have the best of times working together.

One thing I enjoyed the most was hearing about her childhood. She began her crazy skating adventure at such a young age. She was competing and winning when she was 5 years old. She went to this mall in Texas when she was younger and trained for hour before going to school. Because her parents valued education over anything else they had her stay in school instead of being home schooled. I find it so interesting that she had an actual career at the young age of 5 and was competing and went to the Olympics before she was even 16.

She looks so graceful in all the pictures of her skating. Makes me wish I could skate. I’d be great to be graceful like that. It’s great to hear how focused and determined she was at that young age. She’s a real inspiration.

Now go check out this episode for yourself! You’ll love it! It’s a great one.

Inside Of Jeanie Buss

Inside Of Jeanie Buss

Jeannie Buss has had such an interesting life. Really enjoyed listening to her talk about growing up in Los Angeles and being a tour guide in her own home.

I may not know a lot about basketball or sports in general but listening to this episode was great. You didn’t need to know everything about the sport to enjoy it. I think it’s awesome she knows all this stuff because she learned it from her father. The fact that she owns the Lakers in amazing in itself.

I honestly didn’t know she owned the Lakers. I never really seen them play or anything but it was surprising. You’d think the sports field would For he most part be dominated by men. So it was awesome to hear her talk about the team and meetings and everything. I know I couldn’t do what she does. She’s definitely a strong person to handle all of that. Plus I can only imagine how stressful it is to be in charge of a major organization like sports teams.

I also found her life outside of the Lakers interesting. Like how she first met some of the players and how she did Playboy in the 90’s. I appreciate the fact she didn’t just go do it when she was 18 or 20 something. It sounded like she did it because she was proud of herself and loved what she looked like and went for it.

This interview was great. I really enjoyed listening to such a strong, empowering and inspirational person. It’s nice to see that she’s so level headed and obviously smart. She seems really down to earth and a really great friend. If you want to know more go check out the podcast but also check out her book.

Inside of James Gunn

Inside of James Gunn

This week was so awesome they had to split it into two episodes!! We all know James Gunn from the great movies like Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. He’s also written movies like The Belko Experiment, Slither, Super, PG Porn and many more. He’s been doing this for practically 20 or more years.

I really found James to be very Knowledgeable and very inspirational. I love how he says to just keep moving forward. There a lot of times when things get too hard and I just stop. Then I get frustrated that I didn’t finish what I have started.

I think he’s a really great guy. Very smart and talented. I found it interesting how he almost didn’t do Guardians but then changed his mind immediately after declining. I don’t those movies would have been as awesome as they were if he didn’t do them. I’m really excited for the third installment, hoping to see more of Michael’s character “Martinex” in it. Also excited for the music going into it. I know he doesn’t mention which songs or anything really about the movie, but still the soundtracks have been awesome.

I love that this week’s episode was a two parter. I could listen to James talk about his life and career for hours! I wish he did motivational speech appearances. I’d go to them. I even found his personal stories very interesting.

Now after these episodes I want to go rewatch both Guardians movies and see what else he has done. And he’s done a lot.

Now if you haven’t done it yet, which hopefully you have, go check it out.

Inside of Chris Hardwick

Inside of Chris Hardwick

Chris Hardwick is one of the best guys! I love watching Talking Dead because he’s the host. I doubt I’d love it as much if he weren’t there.

This week’s episode was great. I definitely learned a lot more about Chris. I didn’t really know much about him except that he was a very well known TV host and that he was married. So actually getting this chance to find out more about him was awesome!!

I found it interesting how he was an alcoholic, I’m happy to here he is sober now. I’ve also learned more about how many other shows he’s hosted. Like @Midnight, haven’t seen it but now I’ll have to go check that out!

One of my favorite moments of the episode was when Chris talked about how he and Lydia first started dating. It was such a sweet story. I can only dream of having a story like that one.

Another one of my favorite moments from this one is of course the time Michael asks questions from fans. He asked one of my many questions I wrote in. It was awesome to see that!! I have written in ones for other episodes but they had never been mentioned. So it just made my Tuesday! Michael is the best!
